I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is long-considered one of the most gruelling challenges on television.
With plenty of creepy crawlies and lots of drama, the ITV talent show is certainly a tough feat to take on.
But one BBC presenter appears to be up to the challenge.
Nick Knowles, from DIY SOS, has been rumoured to sign up for I’m A Celebrity.
Express.co.uk caught up with Nick, 55, at the recent TV Choice Awards and it seemed the BBC host is up for the job.
Although remaining tight-lipped on a confirmation, he said: “As I said when Lorraine asked me, never say never.
“Every year I get asked to do basically all of the reality stuff and every year I’m too busy, but you never know.
“It looks like it would be enormous fun but it looks like it would be the one I would most fancy.
“The trials look enormous fun and I’m still playing rugby at 55 so I’m still enjoying physical activity so never say never.
“But it’s an annual thing an annual speculation, I don’t know why it’s quite ramped up this year!”
I’m A Celebrity will see a whole range of faces joining the line-up this year, with Holly Willoughby confirmed to be presenting alongside Declan Donnelly.
Ant McPartlin announced he would be taking time out from his career for the time being.
It will be the This Morning star who will replace Ant, but it seems she has a slight phobia of bugs.
She said about her new role on I’m A Celebrity: “I couldn’t be more excited to have been asked to stand alongside Dec for the next jungle adventure.
“I love Ant and want to send him my best wishes and support for a continued recovery.”
Holly continued: “These are big shoes, not to fill, but just to keep warm for a little bit… Honestly, I’m a huge fan of ‘I’m a Celebrity’ and actually feel like I’ve won a competition to go and hang out on my favourite show!
“When is it a good time to tell Dec I’m scared of everything that moves?!”
Dec added: “I’m hugely grateful to Holly for agreeing to accompany me to Australia this year.
“She was at the top of my list and I’m thrilled she said yes. It will be a different kind of series but we will try out best to ensure it is no less fun and eventful for our loyal viewers.”
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! returns to ITV later this year.
